Good morning, all!
I am sending out this email to inform you of the plans we are putting into place to moderate the
effect of the COVID-19 virus on our schools.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected us all, but the inherent strength of the CHSD170 family
keeps us moving forward in our devoted efforts to serve our students in the best way possible.
To ensure our students' and staff's health and safety and comply with the Illinois Department of
Health (IDPH) recommendations, effective Monday, November 16, 2020, all teachers and
paraprofessionals will work from home until further notice.
Building administrators and administrative assistants will report to their schools each Monday,
Tuesday, and Thursday to continue essential tasks at the building level. Please contact your
child's school principal should you have any questions concerning the remote learning protocol.
As always, I ask you and yours to stay safe and follow the guidelines established by the CDC,
IDPH, and CCDPH. Together, we will endure and overcome the hardships and restrictions
wrought by the COVID-19 virus.
