A team of dental care professionals including a dentist, dental hygienist, and dental assistants from The Heart That Smiles Mobile Dentists, Inc. visited Chicago Heights Jefferson school last week to provide a series of dental care procedures to the students at the building.
The Heart That Smiles Mobile Dentists, Inc. is a group of highly-trained dental professionals and staff who work hand in hand in a coordinated effort to provide dental services in unconventional settings.
The organization aims to make dental care accessible and convenient by visiting schools, child care facilities, and locally organized social meetings to provide appropriate dental services to children and young adults.
The group provides its services to children with private insurance benefits, coverage from state and federally-funded programs, and those having no insurance coverage at all. The organization prides itself on offering its services without bias or exclusion.
"I cannot speak highly enough about the quality dental care services brought to our students by The Heart That Smiles Mobile Dentists, Inc. team," said Jefferson Principal Chris Baikauskas.
"The exemplary care and kindness that all the members of the group showed to our students was a wonderful reflection of the group's commitment to providing quality dental care services to the students of our school and of our communities," Baikauskas added.
The Heart That Smiles Mobile Dentists, Inc. plans on visiting all of the schools of District 170 to afford services to all of the district's students.
