students in front of tree

Third-grade students from Chicago Heights School District 170's Greenbriar School recently visited Old Second Bank to assist employees in decorating the bank's Christmas tree.

Nancy Van Houtegan was the staff coordinator for the event.

The decorating of the tree has become an annual tradition for the students and is heartily embraced by all of the Greenbriar family.

"Old Second Bank is an amazing community partner who always is very supportive of the activities at our school," declared Principal Joe Taylor.

"This holiday tradition is an eagerly anticipated event for our third-grade students each and every year," Taylor said, "and we are proud to continue this tradition with the wonderful employees at Old Second Bank."
