We have been working on developing a School Leadership Team composed of “Team Coordinators” for the 2019-2020 School Year.

This TEAM will be created to work alongside the building and central office administrators in an effort to make building decisions, in the best interest of students, disseminate updated information about the new building, and LEAD your grade level, content, and/or specialist teams with data driven decisions.  

This TEAM will meet several times throughout the next academic year and you will hear firsthand knowledge of what is in store for the inaugural year of the Chicago Heights Middle School!

The members of this team were selected with the idea that each building, community, content, grade level, and student will have a voice.

Flexible Scheduling              Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 8am to 11am

Team Formation                  Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 8am to 11am

Furniture Whispering           Thursday, December 5, 2019 after school

Reflective Listening             Winter Date TBD 

I would love if this group specifically would sign up for an office hour timeslot prior to the school year beginning. This will help me develop the agenda for our first meeting. Please note the grade and content that is listed above does not mean that is what you will necessarily be teaching or where you will be assigned. Again, this is just to ensure that each building, community, content, grade level, and student will have a voice in planning for the new middle school.
